He gave me some serious feelings, not all good. There is nothing I love more than a vulnerable man who just wants to be appreciated because he is finally starting to realize his worth.

This was my first Eliot Grayson novel, and I was pleasantly surprised after reading some not so stellar reviews. I loved the epilogue, too.An FBI Agent trying not to fall for a potential suspect.Īn eccentric rich boy trying not to get his heart broken.Īnd someone trying to smuggle drugs out of yoga mats. I thought it was a very romantic thing he did, especially for someone who’s not really romantic at all. The creative way that Alec uses to get Gabe to talk to him again was perfect. But how that was done was a nail-biting, heart-pounding scene that had me on pins and needles. Of course, it’s not difficult to know that things will blow up and Gabe will find out about Alec’s deception before Alec has a chance to tell him. This leads to a lot of slow-burn sexual tension between them and that’s one of the things I really liked about the story. He is attracted to Gabe but Gabe is important to the case that Alec is working on so he won’t let himself cross certain lines – at least not at first.

It had been a while since I read an MM Romantic Suspense story and this one was a great way to break that dry spell.Īlec is undercover and he has principles that he doesn’t want to break. I didn’t stop, or leave the bed, until I finished it. I started reading it early in the morning, while I was still in bed. This story grabbed me right from the start and didn’t let go. Undercover is the first book I’ve read by Eliot Grayson and now I wonder why. Reviewed by ButtonsMom2003 Great story I loved it! If only he could keep his hands off of Gabe long enough to find out what he’s up to…Ĭan they ignore their explosive chemistry long enough to foil a smuggling ring? Or will their budding relationship sink faster than a yacht full of contraband? No one with multi-colored hair, piercings, and an ass like that would want boring, serious Alec. When one of the cutest twinks Alec’s ever seen takes an interest, Alec knows there’s an ulterior motive. To be fair, most people irritate Alec, including the FBI director who sent him here to investigate a smuggling scheme involving yoga mats. Tall, dark, and scowling Alec hates Vermont, with its artisanal-freaking-everything and its irritating people. He’s a smart guy, but ever since he got kicked out of grad school, people are only interested in his no-limit credit card and his pierced ears…and other places. Gabe wants Alec between the sheets…too bad Alec’s undercover already… Genre: Romantic Suspense, Contemporary Romance, GLBTQ, MM
